Library Receives New Children’s Books from Libri Foundation

The Friends of the Josiah Carpenter Library have been busy allocating funds from the Sanderson Fund and the Rotary Club they were given in order to support library programs and new books for the children’s collection. Many new Caldecott and Newbery books will be purchased using their funds. The Friends also co-sponsored a grant from the Libri Foundation to provide forty new books for the Children’s collection. These books will be on display during an upcoming Open House invitation only event in February.
